Anybody out there have any experience with the thermostats that block trans fluid/oil below X temperature from going into the cooler/radiator? Is a by-pass needed to complete the pump cycle for blocked flow? You're correct; I don't need it. A holdover cooling system fall maintenance item from living in the woods with -40 degree winter temps that isn't required in the desert.
