I have an early side oiler 427 low riser. I am thinking of installing a roller cam in it, but I have heard that there are extensive mods required to put a roller in a flat tappet motor. Can anyone enlighten me as to exactly what mods need to be made? Can a flat tappet cam be re-installed after the roller mods are made? I'd like to know before I cut up my not-so-common block.
