I agree, it's a good engine; I use it for towing horse trailers. A K&N filter was a big improvement, and a low restriction muffler will be next. Question: does anyone know how much modification this engine will take without annoying the EEC-IV? I've read that without Mass Air (which is not a cheap upgrade) you can't even swap cams. Torque is nice but a little acceleration would be very welcome! Any of you junkyard dogs know computers, too? lordjanusz '94 F150 (300 ci) '73 F100 (360 ci) '97 Saturn (wife's car) _____________________________________________________________________ You don't need to buy Internet access to use free Internet e-mail. I searched the archives and didn't find a conclusion on the subject. Is there anybody out there that has done this and made it work? I'm using it on a 390 in a 1967, so the kickdown is a solid rod, not the cable. Should I expect problems getting it to work? Is the E-brock adapter a waste of money? I'm trying to plan ahead for the day I drop the motor in. I don't want to be dinking around when I should be driving it. Thanks again for any ideas, Drew dcbeatty == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ End of perf-list-digest V1 #15 ****************************** +--------------- Ford Truck Enthusiasts - Performance ----------------+ | Send posts to perf-list To access the rest of this feature you must be a logged in Registered User Of Ford Truck Enthusiasts
