Joel Thomas Little Rock,AR ------------------------------ From: "Busby, Lon" Subject: Adjusting rockers Date: Sun, 26 Mar 2000 09:15:00 -0500 I have a 91 F150 5sp 4.9L (300cid)strait six. I need help on how to set the rocker bolts. I just put new lifters, pushrods, oilpump, and rockers in her and can't seem to get a lifter to stop ticking. I'm wondering if I got a bad lifter. My book says to torque to 17 to 23ftlbs. So I set to 20 and only have one that is ticking.
