Several choices as I have investigated
1)Throttle body injection using all parts for $1200 from Turbo City is the
easiest way to do this.Look at the Turbo City web page, their info is like
a primer on fuel injection.
2)Find an 87-92 big block GM pickup or suburban and move the fuel injection
to the 460
3)Port injection: my approach was to get a wiring harness from a mass air
flow mustang and get the parts. Then drill the manifold to add fuel
injectors, add the fuel rail, fuel regulator fuel pump, supply and return
lines, buy dual 70mm throttle bodies from edelbrock, buy a large enough
mass air flow meter (contact Proflow at their website) and then buy a
eec-iv calibrator so the tables can be modified and then read the web site >
called sn95.com mustang forum on modifying. The cost about $2800. You
could instead by your computer and wiring harness from speedpro. Another
good site is Force Fuel injection.
