Anybody know of a 30-31 Model A pick-up
that is for sale? Prefer one that is
in the southeast US.

Very good advice. What's the old saying, Batteries go dead in the winter,
but die in the summer? Next to the heat, corrosion is your worst enemy.
I've seen a new, fully charged battery just give an 'UMPH' because of
dirty/corroded terminals.

One thing. I would NOT buy my voltage regulator at Wal Mart. They will
typically sell you a wells, or worse. Why use crappy parts in your
charging system? Bite the bullet and go to a NAPA store and get a good VR.
It is worth the money. Yes, NAPA parts will cost more than the same (?)

parts at Auto Zone or Pep Boys, but that's only because they are worth
more. NAPA should have an electornic equivilant for the older point and
solenoid type.

I have no affialation with NAPA, blah, blah, blah... but it took me a while
to realize that cheap parts are no bargin.
