This is a 'in the middle' ratio. A 4.10:1 (of 4.10 t 1) would be low. I use a 3.25:1 with my 351M and I like it very much (17 mpg average/21 highway & still smokes Z-28's). I have a lower 3.75:1 with my 351SVO, but it has an AOD. How about if I do a trial and error test, = replace the EGR and hope this does the trick. Or, should I pay to have = the dealer do another diagnostic. To tell you the truth I would rather = not take it to the dealer because that last time I was there they said = the reason for the hesitation was low fuel pressure. =20 I have dual tanks on this truck, switched to the other tank and had the = same problem. I thought " its got to be the fuel filter". Replaced = it, same problem. I thought " its got to be both fuel pumps going bad = at the same time ? Changed one of them, still the same problem. Hence = my reluctance to return to my dealer. I'm not bashing them I'm just = gun shy and out of money at this point. Is there some other device in the fuel system that could be causing low = pressure, boosters maybe. My truck has a 155" wheel base. Lots of = distance for a small electric pump. Should I just pay for another code check. Anyone know any good places = to go in Los Angeles area?
