It's the same block/heads, so that is not an issue. My blackjack's exit
the same way. I have not ever seen any that don't exit this way (except
for one's that go outside the frame). Let me know if you find anything.

Unfortunately nobody offers a set of shorties yet for the lowly M block. I
have emailed these guys http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.fordpowertrain.com/ regarding the
possibility and this is the response I got:

The Cleveland and M series header flange is interchangeable, however the
header must be built for the chasis in order to fit. F.P.A. is designing a
shorty 3 51 Clev./M header that should fit most trucks due out in April.

Thanks,

Hi Guys,
Need info. on the machine Ford dealers buy to clean & re-claim
air-conditioning refrigerant (cost around $80k). Gone thr. 7 a/c comp.
since new (92 Bronco,351) & am now going to court. All feedback for this
problem helpful. All work was done Ford dealership; earlier repairs did
not use new machine. Thanks, Mike

i have experienced the same prob once before and i used a small wire
gauge and a cotter pin remover to gently ease it out... other than that
perhaps you could try chiseling the pin until it break... make sure to
wear eye and hand protection, those pins are strong, but very
brittle.--later Rob
