Hello.
I have a small pit and four cracks (like an X) about 1/2 inch across on my 99
Ranger windshield.
Do I need to be concerned about this ? Will it get worse if I take no action ?
Thanks

if you check with the local windshield replacement companies some of them do
repairs on stone chips. they work very well. But you need to get it done NOW
or it will be to big to fix and you will have to replace the glass.
insurance should pick up the 35 to 50 dollars it cost. they like that better
then the 350 to replace in most cases.
and it is cheap enough to pay out of your pocket if need be. It will not
take much to make it crack the rest of the way know.

The Ford Truck Enthusiasts have grown to a point where the
mailing lists are in need of sponsors to cover the large
server bandwidth fees that the lists are incurring.

In the near future, there will be text sponsorship notices
at the top of the digests and occasionally we'll run one on
the live list for a day. As with the web site banner ads,
sponsors will not have influence on content or editorial
policy.

Hey Ken,

How about the sponsors message in the area thats
added to the end of all the messages? Or anyone that
wants to could send in a little coin...I don't think I could
survive without my daily fix of FTE...

Hi guys! OK, FTE content here is that CB's go in trucks so there! Can anyone
send me some links to catalogs I can get in the mail that sell CB's? I know I
can get em at stores but I figure if the manufacturer is selling them it'll
probably be cheaper.I am looking for one
Thanks. Oh yeah.......why don't CB's come in colors other than black and
chrome? Sheesh!??! I wanna pink or purple one! =P

I'll stick with Option-4 ;)

speaking of cents and spending money on trucks. Has anyone used rod
ends such as the ones in the four wheel magazine for tie rod ends and
such? Are Grade 8 bolts stronger than the stud on regular tie rod
ends?

What about some welding tips? Looks like they also use "heavy-wall
DOM or chrome moly tubing". Is chrome moly harder to weld than
regular tube? Is the regular tubing strong enough? I need a track
bar and drag link but if I could make them all the better? Maybe?

Hey Steve!

It'll be on the top of the digest, and occasionally one will
run on the bottom where the current unsubscribe info is (this
will be when the client want a quick 1-2 day burst of ads).
We'll be working with a 3rd party company to supply them and
they insist on having it somewhere around the top. It will
be text message. A third party agency will be supplying the
sponsorship, therefore editorial influence will be
eliminated.

I wanted to avoid it, but the combination of the lists
eating up 40-50% of the server bandwidth (we pay bandwidth
fees) and taking FTE full-time has put us in a bind. It
was not an easy decision (I consulted with several list
members before doing it).

Hey fellow Ford Truck lovers, I have posted contact info on FTE classifieds for the Bronco I was writing about in last couple of postings. I am letting this stuff go real cheap so as to ensure it goes and to help make up cost effectiveness for someone who may be out of state and or renting a rollback to pick them up.
