Mills" Subject: Anti-freeze question Here's a good one maybe for the "professional wrenches" among us. I sent the wife out for a couple of gallons of anti-freeze the other day, so I could top off the overflow tanks on the "fleet". I told her to just get what ever was on sale..... She came back with 2 gallons of "Sierra" propolyene glycol anti-freeze. Gave me the spiel about being less toxic to animals, etc. With 2 dogs running around the yard, I can see the point. My question is, is this stuff compatible with "standard" ethelyne glycol anti-freeze? If it is, I will switch over when each vehicle comes due for coolant service. Right now I just needed to top things off..... We have have to flush out the sierra type out of the few that we have to run the standard type. Like what come new in....
