Not a big problem, can be swaped with any 5 lug dana 44 axle, and yes the
brake disk comes off, so you just replace the hub

If ya need more info just ask

i luv to play in puddles and its a multipurpose vehicle.. heck i am
breaking dana-44 parts.... and since the 40 gal fuel cell is in the
stock rear tank position  with the dana-44 in front and warn winch i am
actually balanced front-rear within 50 - 100 lbs..with the c-6 and

np-205 i am now unfort. even heavier then before and am probably pushing
6000 fully loaded. happily tho the added weight makes me even more
stabler since its centered and low. I am concidering changing the cable
on the winch tho from steel to the new fabric stuff to get a bit of
weight off the very front..
(i know a winch on a dessert runner...we had the only one that i know of
last year.. - hey we pulled a LOT of  other racers out of heavy silt
last year. (now if i could get warn to sponsor us.. lol)

If ya don't mind, tell us more about this fabric winch lead.. Manufacture,
Strength, diameter, abrasion resistance, resistance to mold, mildew, rot and
other environment factors. Special requirements for attachment devices. Is
it a direct replacement? I.E. can you swap a 150ft 5/16 wire rope with a
150ft of this fabric lead?
Oh and of course cost if ya have it.

Erik,
it was reviewed in the june version of four wheeler in the neat stuff section.

They said it is pretty good stuff, it is Called Amsteel Blue.... check it
out at
www.gourock.com

Pros:
50 feet weighs 1.75#s (extension cable)
150 feet weighs 6.5#s WITH hook (main cable)
Rated at 13,700 lbs breaking strength
No stretch at ALL, so no whipping when broke
Cons
Not good at anything over 200 degrees F, doesn't like hot
Not very abrasion resistant
