Hi,
Check out http://www.ford-trucks.com/articles/buildup/winch.html

For the
bumper I went with, other pics of it on the main page (link below).
Bye. They made a bumper for me, which compensated for my 3" body life,
winch mount...

Hi, I have a 1989 Ford F150 4x4 and it has a 3" body lift. The front bumper
> is still in the stock position and there is an ugly gap between the
bumper
> and the body. I've been looking for brackets but no one sells them. I can
fab up some myself if I have to. Have you heard of any ideas on how to make
my own lift brackets or modify the stock ones? have you seen any front
bumpers for my truck with lift brackets and what are the prices? I like the
Smittybilt tube
bumpers and the Warn Enforcer.

Please point me in the right direction, no one else has really helped me on
this.

Sorry Nelson, but I can't help you with the bumper relocating brackets. I
like the Warn Enforcer also. I'll see if I can find any info. I just wanted
to ask you if you put the lift on your truck? I am considering the body lift
on my truck since it is so much cheaper than suspension lifts. What did you

have to alter on your truck? I know about the fan shroud. How about the
shifter, both tranny and t-case? E- brake cables? Steering shaft? Brake
> lines? Fuel lines? Any help or advice you give would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Folks, I'm looking for advice, the
rotors on my 90 F150 351 4x4 are
warped. I was going to just snatch them off and take them to get resurfaced
if they weren't to bad out. I've done this before on 2'ies with no probs of
course. When I pulled the wheel on the beast the hub is all one piece. What
all is involved in the removal and replacement of this assembly? Would ya'll
recommend replacement? or if their not to bad resurface? Pay someone else,
or try it myself? I've priced those pep guys at $145.00 (too high?). It's
only got 89,000 miles on it, but it's got the towing package with elec.
brakes and I know the po pulled his horse trailer with it on occasion. I'm
on a shoestring budget and it's a daily driver so it can't be expensive nor
take long to do. I've had it for about 18,000 miles, it averages 18mpg if I
can stay out of it. So what is the verdict ohh knowledgeable ones? Thanks
for the help in advance, I've learned a lot by listening to you guys but
still don't know enough to offer much help in return.

You can separate the rotor from the hub if the
rotors need to be replaced.
You will need to pound out the wheel studs with a hammer and a brass drift.
This is what I did on my 89 and it was pretty easy and worked well for me.

Based upon previous experiences with this list I need to clarify that this
is just my opinion and is not to be taken as the only way to do this job.
Others on the list can probably provide a "better" way of doing this.
