I saw one yesterday getting on the freeway. It was a white F-350 Dually, and
except for the fact it had doors that opened, looked just like a regualr bed,
same lines, curves, everything. Looked REAL sharp. Actually made me drool a
lil, thinkin how I could possibly do that to Tweety.

Subject: 4" Ranger lift

I just got my 4" Superlift kit for my '96 Ranger 4X4 today from National Tire > and I'll be putting it on as soon as the truck gets back from the body shop
sometime next week. I was goin' to go with the 5.5" lift but my dad talked
me out of it. When I was asking the guy from National
Tire about what the
kit included he said it included everything I would need....along with brake > line drop brackets and a sway bar drop bracket. But.....when I got the kit
today neither the
brake line drop brackets or the sway bar drop bracket were
in there. We called National Tire back and he said it wasn't necessary to
have them with a 4" lift. So, my question is: Has anyone put a kit on like
this before and not lengthen the brake lines or dropped the sway bar......how
did everything work out, any problems? Thanks in advance for your help.

PS The truck is gonna be totally done in about a week and a half then I'm
gonna get a picture up and I hope you all get a chance to see it. It's gonna
be a purdy slick lookin' show truck. I guarantee there ain't another one
like it in the world....at least I hope not.

Subject: Annual Pigeon Forge Supernationals

Ford Truck Enthusiasts makes an annual trek to the
F100 Supernationals in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. This
is the largest 48-79 Ford truck show in the world.
Each year, list members and web site visitors meet
there. This year, the non-profit Association of
Ford Truck Enthusiasts will be meeting there. AFTE
has several things planned, such as a breakfast and
picnic. One of the members, Gary, asked me about a
month ago to announce the event to the lists but it
got misplaced in my to-do list.

If you're interested in attending this event, there
is a forum on the web site site message boards (events
forum).
