How have you survived? What kind of withdrawal symptoms did you get? Did it hurt much? FTE Content: If you own a lifted and big tired truck, the next time you have to jack it up and set it on jack stands; would you measure the distance between the ground and the axil tube, and the ground and the frame where you put the jack stand? Why would I make such a strange request? Most people I know would say that "I'm strange!", but that's not it. I'm thinking about building some serious jack stands. If I'm going to make a set for me I may as well make em so that they can fit all my friends trucks too! Thanks. Muel ------------------------------ From: "Bob" Subject: Re: Test Date: Tue, 18 Apr 2000 11:20:20 -0400 Muel, Sounds like a great idea! I used two rail road ties (12"X12") stacked and then my jack stands on top to lift my truck. -bob- 79 Bronco > 8" lift 40" hawgs 460's on the trailor!! -----Original Message----- From: offroad-list-bounce [mailto:offroad-list-bounce Sent: Tuesday, April 18, 2000 10:57 AM To: offroad-list Subject: [offroad-list] Re: Test -> Date: Tue, 18 Apr 2000 05:28:46 -0700 (PDT) -> From: "D.
