This will make things a lot easier considering that your motor, and cab will all bolt right to the 4WD. If you turn your 2WD into 4WD you have to do alot of cutting and drilling and relocating. In case you didn't know, although you prolly do, the 4WD transmission is different than a 2WD transmission so don't plan on bolting your T/C straight up to your existing transmission. We converted my dads '95 X-cab F-250 460/auto. to 4WD. He bought the truck as a wrecked 2WD. He already had the 4WD out of a F-250 Powerstroke that had been rolled. He sold the engine to a guy and installed it which paid for the wrecked truck. He took his 460 trans. and the Powerstroke trans. to a transmission shop and they swapped out the internals to make the 460 trans. a 4WD transmission. The frame on his 2WD was broke so he bought a new 4WD.... To access the rest of this feature you must be a logged in Registered User Of Ford Truck Enthusiasts
