Kountz" Subject: Seats and things Date: Wed, 15 Mar 2000 23:47:22 -0500 Hello everyone, I was wondering if someone could put me in touch with a website or catalog of companies that sell aftermarket seating, bumpers and other parts for restoring and/or customizing FORD trucks. I know of Whitneys and the usual ones but I thought some of you might know of some others that maybe aren't so popular yet has good selections. Thanks, Jim ------------------------------ From: JUMPINFORD Date: Thu, 16 Mar 2000 16:03:52 EST Subject: DAna 60 help needed Hello everybody, I need some help locatiing a part. I need the inner axle for a dana 60 HD front end off of a 76 F-350 Supercab. DAd got a lil excited last time we went wheelin and splintered it big time. So far all my searching has been in vain. The ford part # for it is D6TZ-3220-B. And Im not keepin my hopes up. This is the big nasty dana 60, the knuckle joints are very large and do not use C-clips, instead they have the full snap rings on the outside of the joint. If this is not enough info just let me know and I can get length and spline count for ya. Coincidence?> I wanna sport/light bar and a dash > cover. Anyways, my question is: Where can I find a light bar? If you just mean a roof bar to mount lights on NAPA has a universal one for around $80 or so in the 'Balkamp' catalog (Happy Birthday also!) > REALLY cheap. I know in JC Whitney they are about 300-500$! YIKES! That might be a 'roll bar' with light mounting points. Which are you looking for? A light bar would go over the roof allowing you to mount lights but a roll bar would go from the bed upwards offering some protection if you rolled Envy. Your choice depending on the look you want. I figure if I start to roll I'm gonna duck anyway so I'm not so concerned about keeping the roof from collapsing.. Of course not.. yours is easy to work on, parts are cheap and readily available and will go just about anywhere. When they break down guess who they'll call for a tow rather than a real towing company.. > For > some odd reason, I feel insanely proud! =) MY BABY IS UGLY! My B-II is about butt ugly but I'll attempt pulling out a Suburban if it's stuck. Drive what you like and tell people to go to Hell if they don't like it. Actually I did somethin similar, pulled a loaded U-haul and car trailer out of a muddy field with lil ole 2wd tweety. Was fun as # windshield from all my wheel spin, but he didnt have to call U-haul.
