Fw: New tires ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Date: Sat, 10 Mar 2001 05:25:26 -0600 From: tvsjr <tvsjr Subject: New truck! Greetings all- Today I took delivery on a brand-new 2001 Expy XLT with the No Boundaries group. 4x2, 5.4L, 3.55LS rear, cloth interior, etc. I will have to say that this truck is beautiful! The old 97 beast with 188,000 miles will be going as the trade-in. I hate to give up such a reliable and nice vehicle, but the new one is worth it. If all goes well, I may have a few pictures over the next few days to post, both of the old truck with all the antennae and radio gear, and the new one, as yet unequipped with anything. Over the next few weeks, I'll be installing 12 antennae in the roof, pulling the center console, extending the CD changer, installing my custom storage unit in the back, installing the radio console, adding strobes all over the vehicle, and installing a Go Rhino police-style pushbumper with my KC Daylighters on the front. Now for the questions for those with service manuals: I'm looking for the wiring schematic for the fog lights - are they wired like the normal headlights, being fed from the driver side and then connected to the right, or are they different? If anyone could eMail me a scan of the schematics and description or fax it to me, I would be greatly indebted. Please contact me off-list ( tvsjr Later all! I have heard both Toyo M606 & Tranpath s/u and Michelin LTX are good. Does anyone have an opinion as to which is better. Ian...
