Glenn-

Many shops these days use a powered unit that interfaces into the coupling
where the transmission fluid runs through the cooler. The device sucks the
entire system clean, then a cleaning solution is added and pulled out, and
then the new fluid added. While you don't change the screen, everything
I've heard says that the screen looks perfect after using this device and
then dropping the pan to take a look. The real advantage is that you don't
have to drop the pan, so you don't have to mess with the gaskets and have a
potential for leaks. It usually costs ~$60-$80 for the service.

Hope it helps
Terry

I don't know, Ken...what assurance do we have that "hanging chads" won't
screw-up the recount if the vote is close?

The big difference is I don't talk like most people type and
I could care less about feeling anyone's pain!
