Are you planning to use the pto for the pump? or go off of the crank?  I
see
now that ford offers the Idle speed module from the factory.  I wish I had
got that and the 2nd alternator.  Let me know which unit you have interest
in.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
I too am looking at my winch options.  Unfortunately the idle and pto
controllers will NOT allow you to engage speed control or PTO without
parking brake on and transmission in neutral (manual) or park (auto).   I'm
afraid putting the brake on will certainly make the winch work harder.
The controller only has 4 wires going in/out, so I think it is
getting/sending a digital signal to the cpu.  makes it a lot harder to
bypass that "safety" feature.
