The 40/20/40 seat does have an adjustment knob on the driver's
seatback.(which I assume was lumbar adj) The truck I looked at was a
F250 super cab. After I sat in this seat, I ordered it, before that I
had assumed that I would need Captains Chairs, due to terrible seats in
prev Ford trucks, but this was quite nice. The reg cab may be different,
it used to have no seatback angle adjustment.

I ordered an F150 on Jan 24 and it was delivered to the dealer Feb 18.
Don't know if it makes a difference but I ordered from a very large dealer.

This ONLY applies to the '99 Super Duty trucks. When I ordered my F250back
in Dec. the dealer already had 35 ordered and some of these had been on
"order" since mid October. The demand is far greater ,IMHO, than even Ford
was hoping for.

Hi all,

This may sound like a pretty silly question, but here it goes anyway!

What is the biggest engine you good buy in a Ford Truck or just any old
(or new) Ford? (in the US)

Is it the 7.3L Turbo Diesel V8? Or can you get a bigger one?

Does Ford offer a V12 in any of its models, including Ford affiliated
cars, like Jag or Lincoln?

Just askin' for curiosity,

Thanks,
Wayne
