I have an Extended cab F150, and am trying to figure out where to mount =
a mast
type antenna for my CB.=A0 Normally, i would mount it right off the =
edge of the
bed..=A0 but,=A0 have a Leer 100XL camper top on the thing... sooo.. =
that's out.

I am lookin into a Bumper type mount, and would love any assistance =
anyone out
there would care to offer.

Also, where's a good place in Atlanta to GET a high quality antenna?=A0 =
Circut
City, Hi-Fi Buys, Pep Boys, and Radio Shack all either don't carry =
them, or only
have crappy magnet mounted ones.=A0 The only magnetic mount I have seen =
that's
working well is the K40's and I can't seem to find one of those either.

If your goal is sh ort range talking (on the trail not on the road) you could
just mount a short antenna under the shell. Other wise how about drilling the
roof. From the point of best reception the roof wins by far.

DELIVERY SO I CAN SELL MY TRUCK. 2 WEEKS AGO DEALER CALLS SAYS YOUR ORDER IS
ON SCHEDULE. SO I SOLD MY TRUCK. CALLED DEALER 4-24-98 HAY I SOLD MY TRUCK
WHEN CAN I EXPECT NEW TRUCK. DEALER SAYS JIM I GOT BAD NEWS YOUR TRUCK HAS
BEEN ON RESTRICTION NEW BUILD DATE 6-1-98 EXPECT IT ON 6-15-98. JIM SAYS WHAT
THE HELL U TALKING ABOUT. DID U LIE THE FIRST TIME OR ARE U LYING NOW. WHY DID
U SAY ONTIME WHEN U OBVIOSLY DIDNT CHECK COMPUTER. DEALER SAYS I DONT
APPRECIATE U CALLING ME A LIAR. JIM SAYS TRUTH HURTS DOESNT IT. WELL NOW I
DONT HAVE A TRUCK AND WONT BE GETTING ONE TILL 6-15.
