Subject: A few questions from a newbie

I am a new member to this list and would first like to thank everyone for
the info. that I have already gotten in a few days of lurking.
I just bought a 1998 F-150 regular cab, with the 5.4L V-8, and a 3.55
regular slip. I would like to do some engine work to this truck a little
at a time. Then when the warrranty is up get into the motor. My first change
is going to be a K&N air filter. Then I would like to move to the exhaust
system, this is where my questions really start.
I have thought about running duals out the back and going to headers
and a completly new system. I am just beginning to look at this and don't
really know exactly what questions to ask. Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Phillip O'Reilly
