Jeff,

You can get a F-350 Crew Cab Dually Shortbox (156" wb), but it must
be white only.
You can also get the 7.3L, auto, Lariat Package, camper package, Off-
Road package,

You CANNOT get two-tone white and tan, must be WHITE only.

Two weeks ago I ordered a F-350 supercab 4X4. The sales guy used a
computer terminal to verify my options but stated he wasn't authorized
to enter the order. Is it reasonable that after two weeks you could get
some sort of confirmation of your order? Has anyone been thru this
process? How do I know that my truck won't show up the wron color or
missing an option?

When you order a new truck on the Fordstar terminal, you can request a
confirmation (called DORA). It would be to your dealer the next day. It is
up to the Dealer to do this and then pass it on to you. Then you should be
able to make changes to the order (except package, wheelbase, and body
style) until it is in Locked in status. Some changes will not be accepted
if there is a shortage. Adding tutone paint to an existing order will not
be allowed etc.

I've used Motorcraft. But I've switched over to Wix (available

at Napa). They have twice the surface area of most other

filters.

Just recently, there was an article about the NEW oil that Ford began
using. Dunno where I did see the article. As I recall, certain
applications MUST use the recommended oil or one will suffer major
premature failures of the moving parts.

I am thinking that the info was on a Mitchells CD.
