I ordered 99 Super Duty, F350 Cab & Chassis March 1st. Anyony care to speculate on the deliv date? My small dealer has had no Super Dutys so far & no build date. Lee Haefele ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 16 Mar 1998 09:00:11 -0600 From: "Union Auto" Subject: Re: Anyone know about deliv dates? Here is what Ford has sent out for April Production commodities. LD F-series 5.4L engine 9% 4.6L engine 44% 40/60 seats 69% Super Duty F-series tutone paint 15% F350/450/550 DRW 17% F250/350 SRW 4X4 65% F-350/450 DRW chassis cab 7% F350 DRW pickup 12% trailer towing 60% These are commodities for the Kansas City region but all other regions should have similar constraints. If your dealer still has not received any Super Duties you are in for a long wait. We're a small dealer (town of 400 people) and have 4 in stock and 5 due in and I am guessing a 4 month wait on orders. Nathan Bernard Union Auto, Inc. Got some real close looks. This truck is a real winner. I looked underneath, big, beafy frame, axles, etc. Big, front suspension too. It was the 4 door model. Lots of room in the back seat and the dash layout was cool too. Only one drawback: sticker shock! $36,000!!!! Better start saving the pennies.... Oh, forgot to mention... I think the guys at the dealership like it too. Had mud on the tires and a little in the under carriage! I was there after-hours (the truck was on their front lawn) and I guess they hadn't had a chance to wash it yet. - -Ken ------------------------------ End of fordtrucks97up-digest V1 #27 *********************************** =======================================================================....
