For some strange reason Goodyear does not make this tire in a 255/70 for a 16 inch wheel. So, I was considering going to the 265/70 (as opposed to the 245/70). The tire guy said that the tire would not look right on a 16x7 wheel. Is he right, or just jerking me around? Has anyone got this size tire mounted on a 7 inch wide wheel? Also, since my truck is set up for the 255/70 16, what is involved (forthe dealer) to change the speedometer setting to a 265/70 16? I would like to go to the slightly bigger tire and would appreciate any advise. The F250s come with 265/75/16 stock and i have a 285/75/16 on it, althought i wouldnt recommend over a 275/75/16. I am going to a 8" rim in a few months. On the speedo I didnt seem to notice a whole lot of difference between a 265 and 285 speedo wise, but once i get my new GPS will check it for differences.
