Did the Computer Chip improve the performance as advertised? 2. What happen to your fuel mileage? Did the mileage improve as advertised? 3. Did the exhaust on the truck release more smoke? 4. Did you install a turbo temperature or boost gauge? 5. Did the transmission shift differently? 6. Please give me your opinion of the Computer Chip and if you think it has good value. 7. Which Computer Chip do you think is the best? a. Hypertech Chip? b. Super Chip? c. Others.? I'm looking into replacing all this stuff on all four wheels. TIA ------------------------------ From: DanBrotzman Subject: Trim Removal Date: Mon, 10 Apr 2000 08:26:29 -0500 I am about to install a CB in my 99.5 F350 CC 4X4 PSD LB. I plan to route the antenna to the rear sliding window for a glass mount antenna. I realize this is not the best antenna for a CB but I can't stand drilling a hole anywhere. I want to route the antenna wire under the plastic trim on the drivers side but I don't know how to remove this trim with out damaging it. Any tips would be welcomed! Also the antenna directions say not to mount to any glass with a metal foil in it. I have the extra dark factory tint in my windows, is this tinting plastic or metal film? I have entertained the thought of mounting the CB to the ceiling of the cab but rounting power up there and removing the headliner look like a nasty task.
