We felt it unusual to have a truck this size and they do not have hitches and ours was not the only on the lot that way. Do they order them in that way and does FORD generally expect the dealership to 'collect' for it?......... We traded in our 1999 CC 250 PSD for this one and it came with the hitch last time. Anyone know? I mean they are going to give it to us at their 'cost' but it just seems it should have been there. I know that is something I have taken for granted - if you buy a truck - expecially the bigger ones - they have a hitch from factory. Thanks Patti Don't hurry through life Take time to enjoy it! ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 05 Apr 2000 14:07:31 -0700 From: johny Subject: Re: Got a 2000 crewcab diesel - 250 SD I wouldn't say it's "typical", but for those that think the class IV hitch is too wimpy, and want to upgrade to a class V hitch (especially if you have a truck camper and need to use the extension), it wouldn't be surprising. The hitch is still an "option" as far as I know. So while it may come from the factory; it's not free. Edmunds or KBB should have the invoice price. On the 99's it was like $128 or so for the class IV hitch. -john delgrosso wrote: > HI everyone > > Does anyone know if it is 'typical' to order this size of a truck with NO > hitch? I got his message and subsequently deleted and ignored it. You can flame him all you like. He'll still probably thank you for bringing his product to the attention of the entire list. -----Original Message----- From: RSnovi Sent: Wednesday, April 05, 2000 11:23 PM To: 97up-list Subject: [97up-list] Re: Lets Get 'im In a message dated 4/5/00 9:39:28 PM Eastern Daylight Time, andthensometoo no kiddin lets have some fun with this idiot, i can't stand people that do this kinda stuff.
