I installed a 30 gallon tank where the spare tire would normally be. It works
great.

IMO, I would not want a fuel tank so close to the rear in
case of being rear ended. But others fell the same about my
bed mounted tank. What ever floats your boat I guess. But
check out this bed mounted tank at

tank with tool box on top seems like fuel might stay cooler
in summer sun. Bill

'99 XLT 4-Dr 4.6 5K miles - I've got it too. Sounds like marbles
rolling around in the gas tank to me. I'm wondering if a fitting piece
or something has become loose in the tank anf the fuel pump is rattling
it around??

I'm planning a do-it-yourself, complete detailing job on my brother's '92
Ford truck as a Christmas present. I've learned a lot by reading usenet
posts and websites about treating the exterior but am looking for advice on
detailing the interior.

What products do you all prefer to clean and protect fabric seats, carpets,
the dash, and doors?
