Can anyone tell me if the new engine being replaced will be the updated model with the 260 hp and if the new engines have been redesigned to overcome the problem of piston slap. Is there a way to tell which engine that is being put into my truck by markings or id numbers, I appreciate any info that is availlable. == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info http://www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ End of 97up-list-digest V2 #281 ******************************* +------ Ford Truck Enthusiasts - 1997 and Newer Trucks and Vans ------+ | Send posts to 97up-list To access the rest of this feature you must be a logged in Registered User Of Ford Truck Enthusiasts
