Apparently, from Ford's order guides (6/30/99), and elsewhere, the
fold-down/flat-load-steel-floor that the 99's had IS NOT AVAILABLE ON THE
2000'S! You get a flip-up bench seat, which when flipped up (against the
seat-back) opens up a "load floor" (the carpeting!) WITH A HUMP
(trans/driveshaft) IN THE MIDDLE! Can anyone out there tell me if I can
order a
99 back seat assy. and put it in my 00? I know I'm a little early, but, I'd
to know. TIA. On Ford's dealer site, even the dealers are requesting that
NOT DROP the 99 back seat in favor of the 00 flip-up seat. 2000 SD/SC V-10
Lariat 2WD Auto. Expected delivery late August.
