The 1.9% is for 36 months. 4.9% is for 48 months. I didn't check beyond that. I need like 3 inches to get it in a garage. I havent ordered it yet for this reason. No, I cant raise the garage :) Thanks - -Jim == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 06 Aug 1998 22:02:50 -0500 From: "shane o. conger" Subject: FTE 97up - Mileage Don't know why my mileage is that much different but I do have the 3.55 rear gear. I don't know if it matters but I have the 6000lb. GVWR package. The first three tanks I checked after driving to work all week were all about 17.5 mpg. After driving back from Iowa, about 210 miles it took 10.76 gallons to fill it. Which makes it 19.52 mpg. The last tank I checked after driving to work was 362.3 miles and 21.69 gallons to fill. About 16.7 mpg. I don't drive all that easy. I don't go anywhere on the highway under 60 mph and alot of times 65. Most driving is on secondary roads and some in town. I do have the K&N filter. Would like to try the Superchip but don't really want to have to buy premium gas. As far as power goes you must remember that this is an overhead cam engine in a very heavy vehicle. I think it goes just fine. It is a far cry from the get up and go of my escort and even better then me 4.0l aerostar van. == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ End of 97up-list-digest V1 #179 ******************************* +------ Ford Truck Enthusiasts - 1997 and Newer Trucks and Vans ------+....
