I discoverd that you can replace the intake silencer(elbow) to gain about 3 hp. You can also replace the flex joint just upstream of the silencer to gain another 3. As for the limiting point in the motor to gain the most power, I think the problem lies in the heads. Changing other things helps, but, that is the limiting component, so, I'm sitting back and waiting for the 16 valve heads that are due out supposedly. I was also thinking about changing around the intake and making it come off the hood from a scoop. Any comments on that? I think that would help, but, that is all theory right now. I am also looking to replace the chrome grill on my Expy with a color matched(pacific green) grill from a F-150(cross hatch patern). I think it should be an easy swap, but I'm not sure. Anyone like the chrome Expy grill that has a green F-150 wanna swap??? I live in Seattle. IF anyone is looking to improve the sound system, I am currently in the middle of designing some boxes for 10" subs, one for the passenger side and one for the driver's side. When I get them done, I will give the drawings out to those that want it. Lastly, I am looking for some pics of Expys at play. I saw the pics of the four wheeling puppies. That is the style of pics that I am after. Betsy and her friends, can I use those on my site??? I haven't had any luck on the Internet so far. Does anyone know company that offers a kit for this or anyone who has pieced one together? Anyone out there that has the v-10 how do you like it so far? pk Perry Klein Dowell Lab Prudhoe Bay, Ak ph# (907)-659-2444 Fax# (907)-659-2538 == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ End of 97up-list-digest V1 #204 ******************************* +------ Ford Truck Enthusiasts - 1997 and Newer Trucks and Vans ------+ | Send posts to 97up-list To access the rest of this feature you must be a logged in Registered User Of Ford Truck Enthusiasts
