Subject: FTE 97up - Engine knock - 97 Expedition 5.4L

My 97 Expedition with 25,000 miles on it has developed a heavy knock on
startup. It goes away after 5 mins or so. Ford says it is looking into
the problem but doesn't have a fix. Any other 5.4L owners experience a
similar problem?
