"Nomail" is not a valid option with the new server. If you receive an email stating "non-member submission", you're going to have to find out what your exact email address is (bob uns*bscribe your existing address and s*bscribe your exact address. I'm planning on modifying the Perl source code to the Majordomo list server to add "nomail" and several other features. This may take a while. Note to digest list members: - ---------------------------- a. One minor table of contents bug has been found and should be corrected soon. b. Digests are not generated on a daily basis. Digests are generated after 40k of messages are built up. I am adding a timed job on the server to generate digests around 4:00 am (EST). This is a good time since the server isn't very busy then. Hang in there, the ride is rough but the destination is worth it. Springer" Subject: FTE 97up - Diesel break-in suggestions? In addition to instructions given in owner's manuals, I've been told the following about breaking in gas engines: 1. don't be excessively easy on it 2. don't be excessively hard on it 3. vary the engine speeds and loads continuously, avoid fixed rpm 4. avoid lugging at low rpm or using the highest rpm range 5. gradually increase maximum rpm used over break-in period 6. change oil and filter at 500 or 1000 miles (some use break-in oil) 7. manufacturers are working in attempt to make the above unnecessary Does the above hold for the Ford turbodiesel, specifically the new intercooled 7.3? I have a 99 on order and would appreciate any information, opinions or suggestions. The good thing he said was nothing on my order is on hold. But if you want to a SD with the 5.4l forget about it. He said that they are no longer taking orders for the 5.4l all of those engines are sold for the year and no more will be made. He also said that the factory rep was in town and they are having some kind of planing meeting now to try and work out how they are going to fill all of the orders that they currently have. I guess this truck is selling faster then they could image. For those with orders it may be a good idea to call and see what they tell you about your order. The 5.4L (on Super Duty) is the last thing to run out in the Kansas City area. Diesels and V-10's are usually gone the first day of scheduling (for the week) and then 5.4L is all that is left. The last two weeks I have gotten a 5.4L scheduled despite having a Diesel and a V-10 prioritized to be picked first. For F-150 I can believe that the 5.4L will be balancing out soon but I don't see it on the SD in the Kansas City region (I have been wrong before, however) Nathan Bernard Union Auto, Inc. They cant make enough 5.4's to put in all those trucks. I imagine since the expedition makes them the most money they are going to try and keep as much 5.4 stock as possible for it. I ordered it the first week of April and as of today it's still unscheduled. I ordered the F250 V-10 SuperCab Longbed 4x4 LS-4.30's. My sales rep said they get their updates from Ford on Thursday and would give me an update this Friday. Anxiety s#cks!
