My truck is an F-350, SRW, Crewcab, auto tranny, 3.73 limited slip w/V-10. I've put five tanks of gas in it and total miles on truck was 1738 at the last fill-up. Could not calculate mileage on the first tank since I didn't know how much was in the tank when the dealer delivered it. Driving has all been unloaded. City/highway driving has been a mix of about 50/50. I typically drive at the speed limit, no more than two or three miles over the limit. MPG has been as follows: 12.1 MPG, 12.4 MPG, 14.9 MPG, 14.2 MPG. /Mark == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 07 Sep 1998 12:50:19 -0400 From: Ken Payne Subject: FTE 97up - ADMIN: Email addresses Hello Ford Truck Enthusiasts list members! In late July, Ford Truck Enthusiasts offered email addresses to list members for a low fee in order to ease the financial burden FTE has on my family (loss of several thousand per year, which could be better spent on a college fund for my two children). We asked for a commitment from at least 20 people to buy email addresses. Due to failure to pay for the service by nearly 40% of the people who ordered it, the email service has increased the financial impact on my family, rather than help it. FTE is now obligated to our hosting company to pay for the email service. If you would like to purchase an email address for 6 months or 1 year in the form of yourname it. You can use the address for any personal email, not just list email. Not only will it help us, it also shows your Ford truck pride to everyone you email. FTE email addresses are compatible with just about every browser and email package there is (for techies, it uses SMTP/POP3). You can use it from most any internet provider. The cost? Personal Use ============ - Total of $20 for 6 months. - Total of $30 for 12 months. - Additional addresses are $14.50/6 months and $26.50/12 months. (For those who remember the last email about this, I simply rolled the setup costs into the payment). Existing Ford truck clubs ========================= - One address for free so long as it is used for club purposes only and is not used in conjunction with mailing lists (except ours). Using it for club announcements and communications with club members is allowable if the volume is kept to a reasonable amount. Please email me at kpayne Include 3 email addresses (in case your first choice is taken) and a notice that you want 6 or 12 months. Additionally, send the password you would like to use with the account. Addresses must start with a letter and contain only letters, dashes or numbers. Your account will be set up with 48 hours of receipt of your email. You'll have 2 weeks days after your invoice is emailed to send payment. Please think about what FTE has offered you and remember that although we stand by our promise to keep FTE's mailing lists free, they aren't free for the Payne family.
