Sufficient old oil will remain in the turbo and gallery to provide lubrication at startup after an oil change. It will not harm your 4R100 to change the oil MORE frequently than the owners manual recommends. You know, better than anyone, how much work you demand of your truck. If it will make you feel more comfortable to change the fluid at shorter intervals, do so. Good luck, Butch Davis- == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 29 Aug 1998 10:17:48 EDT From: DMonte4120 Subject: Re: FTE 97up - suspension recall I had read the other day that this was on 4x4 models only....right? == FTE: Uns*bscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 29 Aug 1998 10:31:20 -0400 From: John Genovese Subject: Re: FTE 97up - f-150 You can find the answer at http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.meadowlandford.com/Welcome.html There is a Trailer towing link. For example a 1999 F-150 4x4 5.4L, automatic, with 3.55 gears, super cab will tow 7,700 lb..
