Mohme" Subject: Re: FTE 97up - Captain Chairs If your power stroke only gets 5 mpg,maybe you should drive a little different.My power stroke gets 20 mpg on the highway and 16 in the city. Couldn't agree more, most Power Stroke owners in our area are quoting similar mpg, typical seems more like the following -- 19+ mpg pulling a 5000# trailer from Tampa to North Carolina and back with a 250SD, Crew Cab, Short Bed Power Stroke. I have a 5.4L 250SD, Super Cab, Long Bed and get about 16 mpg pulling about 7000#. The $ spent over my expected use period could not overcome the $ difference between the two.
