I like them. But I'm of the opinion that its a 4x4 truck, I use = it, I 4 wheel int, so I dont expect it to ride like a car. I was just = curios if there was something other than the ride that you did'nt like = about them. I like the way they make my suspension seem real firm. = Anyway thanks. It will take you a little deeper, but dont think your = going to follow 4 wheelers just because you've got a locker on your 2 = wheel drive. Like, for instance, if you had a Ranger with an automatic installed and you were having problems with it and you wanted to put a standard in so you could work on it yourself could you? Thanks, Dave ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 14 Mar 1998 12:30:54 -0900 From: "Casey Vandor" Subject: shock replacement I need to replace all four shocks on my truck (and maybe add a steering dampener) I wanted to get Monroe Sensa tracs, but the guys at the local tire shop said Monroe doesn't make any for my truck (83 3/4 ton 4x4 ifs) Is there a comparable shock similar in price and such to the Monroe? I looked into KYB like someone mentioned and they were about 60.00 apiece, which is almost double what the monroes were. Also where do you put the other end of the steering damper, (I know one end is attached to the linkage, but didn't see where to put the other end. Thanks P.S. the Manager at NAPA got back to town and called me back and he said that with his experience on the flashers, he wanted more noise and found a heavy duty flasher, but it didn't make it any louder. He can order one for me to try, but he didn't get any results with it. Does the noise level just depend on the year of truck I have?
