I was down at the local Ford Truck center and was talking to the salesman and I said I wanted to get a F250SD to carry a camper. When we pulled out the 1998/99 RV & tailer towing guide and looked up the max cargo weights he said that it was wrong. That last years F250HD was able to hold 3500#, in this book it says that the same truck this year only holds 2651#. I am looking at a SuperCab with 8ft bed. He also told me not to trust this book and wait for the product spec sheet to come out from Ford. - - So is it true that a 97 F250HD could hold 3500#? - - Does anyone have access to the product spec sheet from Ford that has the correct weights in it? Thanks, Joe ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 19 Jan 1998 10:21:27 -0600 (CST) From: Robert Neal Beard Subject: load leveling option on 98 f-250 basically what is it, a air shock, or a bag next to the leaf springs or what? thanks neal 1998 f-250 sc bi-fuel. ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 19 Jan 1998 18:21:44 -0700 From: "Ryan Penner" Subject: Re: My error - -----Original Message----- From: Chad Royse To: fordtrucks80up Date: Monday, January 19, 1998 12:10 AM Subject: Re: My error >It's too bad really. I had some trouble getting on today, something like 'looking up applet/image something or another, I don't know which end it's at, but I'll try again tomorrow, I had ALOT of things going at once, so that may/may not have contributed. But thanks again. Randy Ken Payne wrote: > The chat session last night was lively. I appreciate it! > > Found out that there's definately some problems getting > on for some people...
