Spray on your degreaser, let engine cool first( You can crack a block ,
spraying water on a hot surface) then I cover Throttle body w/some type of
plastic(also very
important Distributer..) I also go through and add DEELECTRIC grease to
electrical
connections to be on the safe side(protect from moisture.) DO NOT SPRAY
DIRECTLY INTO throttlebody area or distributer area...Once you are done
washing,
Don't panic if it does not start..( I have Jacob Electronics) I got the wires
pretty wet..
it took me about 15 min until it started once..LOL....

represent as many eras as possible. Must be stock or
near stock "appearance" (lowered within reason is okay),
no offense meant to modified owners but the T-shirt
will be a "historial" picture. Send your photo as a
JPG formated image (set image quality to highest

Those whose trucks we use will get a free T-shirt. If
we choose your truck, we will email a release to you.
Simply return it with your permission. Release will

The following updates have been made to the web site:

1. All pictorial pages reformated with a better layout.
2. 1960-1966, 1973-1979, 1980-1986, 1987-1996 and 1997+
pictorial pages have additions
3. Several new articles added to the articles page

I would like to ask list members to send in any articles.
It doesn't have to be fancy. If you can write a guide
detailing something you've done to your truck, from
installing a K&N filter on a 1997 F150 to installing a
new cam in a 302, its wanted. Since we have all skill
levels represented on the lists articles of all skill
levels are useful. As with all the articles, you keep
the copyright (I add a notice saying you're the copyright
holder and people need your permission to republish it).

There is a four cylinder in the Ford Ranger Pickup and the English Ford trucks
did use a V4 back in the late 70's.

Say what you want, but I know that now-a-days punks will kill you at a drop
of a hat. I confront wrong WHEN I believe there is a chance of running off
the punk - thug - etc. How ever there is a growing number of punks that
carry firearms illegally and they will not hesitate to use them for no real
reason. Smaller and smaller towns are experiencing this, NOT just "big"
cities. The town just down the way had a fifteen year old punk got shot
trying to steal a truck from his own neighbor. The fifteen year-old is part
of the local gang, and had a 38 and shot three times at the owner before
being shot himself. And that town has less than 10,000 people. I do care
about my truck, my sons truck, my wives car. I do use my head, and if you
READ my posts you will find that they make real sense and not a story line
from some movie. And the reference to "faggy" well that just goes to show
intelligence.

Castrol is pretty good. Also, what are your opinions about additives, like
Slick 50 or Prolong? Unless you think it is important to the list, just

My last truck was an F-150 with an I-6, and I added a Jacobs Electronic
Ignition with Energy Pak, and it increased my gas mileage from 19 mpg to
about 24 mpg, and added a little bit more noticable power. not hi-po, but
pays for itself in gas savings. Also helps with cold starting... very
important on that 40 below zero morning here in Fairbanks

Those are fairly impressive numbers, Joshua. What year model did you apply
those changes to, out of curiosity. Might be worth trying out one of those
setups on my '96 Bronco 351W (terrible mileage :)> )
