S10 reg cab v6 93 1500 ext. cab step side 350 97 4wd suburban tow pack. 454 His s10's valves springs start going bad around 50,000 and he once drove out to my ranch with a wicked rattle coming from the one of the heads. We opened up the valve cover and one of the springs had broken in half. He traded in the S10 for a full size truck, and guess what... ...ever since he started pulling a boat, his truck is always in the shop for some kinda valve or head work. So what does he do now? He goes and buys a 97 suburban (for his wife, so he claims) with 4wd and a towing package to pull his boat. 1 month after he bought this thing its leaking oil, and has been back in the shop 2 more times for oil leaks. There are other people with GM products that I could name and write about too, but the point is that I have seen more GM cars and trucks start to fail in a short amount of time than I have seen Fords fail. Quick note: the worst GM that I have seen is the Geo Metro. This thing looks like the whole car was snaped togeather like a some toy. .---. .----------- / \ __ / ------ / / \(..)/ ----- http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.FordManTed.com (Mustang Shop) ////// ' \/ ` --- http://www.ford-trucks.com//lc/lc.php?action=do&link=http://www.FordRanger.com (Ranger Site) //// / // : : --- // / / /` '-- // //..\ =======UU====UU===[95 Ranger SOHC 2.3L]=[silent.bob '//||\` ''`` +-------------- Ford Truck Enthusiasts - 1980 and Newer --------------+ | Send posts to fordtrucks80up | Send Unsubscribe requests to fordtrucks80up-request +-- Visit Our Web Site: http://www.ford-trucks.com/ --+ ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 12 Oct 1997 15:58:59 -0500 From: Jordan Subject: Re: ADMIN: new Window Sticker design on web site > At 12:04 PM 10/11/97 -0400, you wrote: >Sorry to send yet another email but I forgot this: > >The new design is on the web site, >www.ford-trucks.com >You'll see the sticker link on the bottom of the page.....
