The shaft of the fan clutch/pulley combination wobbles a bit when I move it with my hands, looks normal when idling, otherwise the motor runs fine, cools properly, no leaks. One mechanic told me the water pump would have to be replaced, $120 for parts, $300 for labor. I think I could do that myself, but am worried about breaking the water pump bolts due to age & corrosion. I have the Helm/FMC shop manual for this engine. It mentions a special tool T83T-6312-A&B to remove the fan & clutch assembly. My local dealer was no help in giving any info about this tool. I was thinking of removing the radiator first and then the whole fan/clutch and water pump as a unit. Any comments would be appreciated. __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Get Yahoo! Our dedicated hosting company made changes to our sendmail config 3 days ago without realizing I had customized it. In the process of trying to get everything working correctly, I broke this list queue. Everything should work normally now.
