I think you will find they are both non-metric standard pipe thread. You can hook a second oil pressure guage up in tandem with the factory oil guage sender with no problem. You will need to buy some little brass fittings to make a Y-connector. You will not get a good temp reading if you do that on the temp guage. Best bet is to look for another place to mount the aftermarket temp sender, like at the front of the engine where there is often a plug in a hole near the thermostat housing. Be sure to get one on the "inside" of the thermostat circuit or you will not get the correct temperature during warm-up.
