Yes they are equipped with an o2 sensor. >> It's possible to get better. I have a "83 Ford Bronco with a 351W, C-6, and 3:55 gears and get 12 MPG on the highway and 10 around town in stop and go. What carb and computer system do you have (EEC-III or EEC-IV) ? I have a two barrel holley carb and the EEC-III system. Jerry O. Tranny fluid is slightly acidic and will clean out stuff pretty good. Although I've seen "gunk" on a tranny pan before, I've never seen varnish or gunk buildup in a tranny unless it was burnt up. An even better thing to use is Marvel Mystery Oil. Its one heck of a solvent thats been used for this type of stuff for longer than most of us have been alive. It isn't a snake oil/cure-all that Snake 50, Duraboob, Motorchump, etc. claim to be, its just a good cleaner/solvent. Its the best thing I've heard of for freeing stuck lifters too. Recently I exchanged some wheel'n pictures with a guy from Argentina. It was fun seeing his Jeep and the modifications he had done to it. Also he sent scanned photo's of some of the places he has been. His nephew had a scanner and was nice enough to forward me the pictures. * My idea, Not everyone has a scanner. I do, and due to circumstances beyond my control, I have extra time on my hands. It was nice for a while but, getting old, fast. Soo, send me your photo's. Each photo will receive personal attention. I studied photography for nearly 25 years as a hobby. Only the best software is used. If anyone has pictures they would like scanned into their computer, send them to me. To cover expenses, I think $4 a dozen is a fair and good deal ($4 for 1-12 photo's). This is intended for list members here on FordTrucks 80-96 and two other lists I subscribe to. For a time I considered doing it for free, but realized that, the last time the scanner was repaired it cost me ninety bucks. I will not post this again, so, save this post. For details email me Andrew . == FTE: Unsubscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 6 Jul 1998 01:09:34 EDT From: IMATOOLMAN Subject: Re: FTE 80-96 - Re: Weird additives Will Tolune from paint store really work the same as fuel inject/cleaner or will it really mess with the injectors and this is just a goof on us here? Tool needs to know how much does it cost per/pint or per/gal? == FTE: Unsubscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html....
