It was extremely expensive. I was told at NAPA that 5W-30 non-synthetic would do fine for my truck up there in the winter. Would it do ok, or should I go all out and get the synthetic? BTW since I never have used synthetic, would I get 5W-30 in the synthetic or a straight winter rating like 20?? Don't know anything about synthetics.... obvioulsly Thanks Casey == FTE: Unsubscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 09 Jun 1998 17:15:49 -0600 From: Ryan Dorman Subject: Re: FTE 80-96 - 5.8 mods..... Underground we refer to it as live rubber tape and use tons of it to make high voltage cable splices. The stuff we use is about 1.5 in wide and stretches like Gumby's arms. So if you have any coal mining buddies or mine supply companies around, check them out. Hope this helps, Dave Zarnesky == FTE: Unsubscribe and posting info www.ford-trucks.com/faq.html ------------------------------ End of 80-96-list-digest V2 #208 ******************************** +---- Ford Truck Enthusiasts - 1980 through 1996 Trucks And Vans -----+ | Send posts to 80-96-list....
