If I remember correctly the Hi-Lift Jack Company sells brackets, that are
lockable even, to mount there jacks. Slick set up. Try Dick Cepek's or
4WheelWholesalers. I always thought if I bought a Hi-Lift Jack I would buy
these mounts at the same time, or even a couple sets of mounts to
permanently mount to a couple different vehicles then all I would have to
do is transfer the Jack itself when takeing whichever truck out to play. I
will try to find the WWW pages etc which display these mounts and forward
them.

The holes in the bumper to which you referred are standard on all 1996 XLT's
and Eddie Bauers. The bumpers started appearing in 1994, I believe, on
250's and up only with the Power Stroke Diesel. The holes were added for
extra air flow to the radiator on the PSD. In 1995, the bumper also came
standard on any 150 with the Eddie Bauer Package. In '96, all XLT's and
EB's came with the bumper, as well as anything with the Diesel. The bumper
continued to appear on all 1997 250HD's and 350's with the Diesel or XLT
packages. The bumper on any 1996 F150 has nothing to do with cooling
capacity. Hope this answers a few questions.

Subject: FTE 80-96 - 91 explorer ESOF problems

my 91 explorer is having trouble getting into 4X4, when I hit the dash
button you can hear the electronic box in the back clicking away for about
30/45 seconds, sometimes I get 4X4 and sometimes not. It also effect my
anti-lock brakes, in that I get a flashing or solid yellow warning light
about the ABS. The manual says a flashing ABS light means a bad ground,
can't see how. I disconnected the harness for the ESOF module and applied
contact cleaner with out luck. Any recommendation on where to start
looking, when it engages everything is fine, I can go to low range also.
