You've got that right. It seems that people just can't live and let
live. I'm personally glad that I've got a huge, gaz guzzlin', road
hoggin' truck. :) Hell, if it were up to me, I'da had an F-350 Dually.
:) Just ain't got the money for one right now. :)

Hi Bruce. If you can shift easily with the
engine running, including
getting the transmission into first gear while at a stop, then you're
probably OK. When I did mine last year, I found I had to adjust the rod so
it was a little longer than needed to reach the peg on the clutch, giving
the assembly a little preload.

Do you have the external slave cylinder? If you do, just make sure the
distance between the slave and the clutch release bracket is the same
before and after you connect the master cylinder rod. That way you know
you're adjustment isn't riding the clutch.

Hope this helps!

A convoy of what? Yugos? It was TRUCKS, duh...

My town was/is served by rail. We're in the middle of a 100 million
dollar project to reroute the tracks AWAY from the city because the
people HATE trains.

True, Ike built roads for the Army. He got the idea from Hitler's
Autobahnen. But if trains were so great, why bother? The point is, the
Interstates were built for TRUCKS (military or civilian, they're still
trucks) not for families in Hondas going to grandma's house. And like it
or not, they're definately the reason our economy flows so efficiently
today. Like the bumper sticker says: If you've got it, a truck brought
it! lordjanusz

I have an '89 F350 with power windows in the front but not the back. If I =
knew which parts to look for, I wouls like to add power windows to the =
back doors.

Do I look for a mechanicals out of a F series front doors or are the parts =
for the rear doors unique reuiring that I locate a four door with power =
windows? Or, is there another model of Ford that has parts that will =
work?

Check out Autozone or PEP boys. Their prices are reasonable and they =
offer a good warranty, sometimes you can get a life time warranty.

Subject: FTE 80-96 - Check Engine Light

I was driving home and just as my truck ('92 Flare Side) was shifting gears
I had to brake, I mean the instance the truck shifted I braked and the
truck jerked and sort of sputtered at the same time, and then the Check
Engine light came on. When I got home I turned off the truck and started it
up again, the light stayed off and the truck runs fine. Should I be concerned?....
