I know this is probably not the recommended >procedure but wouldn't it help anyway and be fairly easy to do? >Thanks Walt, yes, I did it myself (first time - other than helping a buddy with his Bronco II) ... pretty much followed the Chilton's manual ... friend of mine gave me a small hand operated vaccum pump (similar to a spray bottle mechanism - purchased at Parts America) to pull through the system in addition to having a friend pump up the brake pedal (in sequence - pumped with pedal as much as we could then used vaccum pump to pull remaining fluid through) .... this pump also came in handy when bleeding the air out of the system ... not sure why, but it seemed to pull the air out with less brake > fluid than using the pedal. = Ford Truck Enthusiasts ============================================== Send posts to: 80-96-list Send unsubscribe requests to: majordomo "unsubscribe 80-96-list" in the message body. ======================================================================= ------------------------------ Date: Tue, 02 Jun 1998 20:06:24 -0700 From: Gene Ball Subject: Re: FTE 80-96 - 300cid I-6 Intake Manifold Hey Guys the clifford intake has one large opening, you have to also buy a adapter plate for a 2 barrel or a adapter plate for a 4 barrel. And make sure you get the water heated intake!!! Your also looking at $500.00 for the intake and header! $200.00 for a edelbrock 500 CFM carb.
