Nielsa Please tell me which was the first year that the F150 was offered with the extended cab. I am not sure of the first year of the supercab body style. For sure it was the '73 to '79 body style. I have a 1975 so I know they made them then. I am pretty sure they were introduced in 1973 but I am not positive. At least that narrows it down to a few model years. The first year for the 4WD supercab was 1978. Actually the 4WD might have been available in 1977 as the 1977 1/2 revised body style. 1977 1/2 is the year they lowered the height of the F250 4WD, changed the steering gear went to the married transfer case.
