I know a lot of people have already responded to this, but I thought
I would add one more source. I got mine at Amazon books. They are
located at amazon.com. When the main screen comes up go to the search
screen and enter Peter C. Sessler as an author and perform a search. The
Ford Pickup Red Book is about third on the list and sells for $8.76. You
will also find a lot of other useful books at this web site.

The design

Tried, True And Ford Blue (with Ford in a tailgate)
www.ford-trucks.com

Got an overwelmingly large number of people wanting
it as compared to the other designs. I'm putting
the finishing touches on it right now. The design
goes to the shop tomorrow morning, they should start
printing in the afternoon or Monday morning. Sorry
for the delay, been going in 5 billion directions at
once.

Sounds like air force to me. I've seen a-lot of 'em being near the Academ=

I guess it could be. Are there any reflectors or marker lights on the bed=
?
Also, the =

'67 didn't have the reflector with the "F100" on the side of the hood. =

Of course, it could be a different hood and bed, right? My '67 doesn't ha=
ve
the slide type heater controls, it has the pull/twist knobs. Also, the
emergency flasher switch is located in the glove box. I don't know if thi=
s
is unique to the '67 or not. =

Only the VIN knows for sure...

Hope all this helps, =

Ok, based on my information it must be a 1966 pick up. The letter A
in the vin identifies a 240ci 6 cyl which was not offered in 1965. The
F25 indicates an F250, I don't know what the 1 is for listed after the A
it should be a letter indicating the assembly plant, if it's an L rather
than a 1 then it was assembled in Michigan. The numbers 771910 indicates
that it was built in October of 1965.

I hope this helps

List,

Thanks to all who responded to my original post about cooling fans,
especially Steve and Dave R.. I asked for options and we got plenty of
them!

Remember, the point is not to agree on everything (wouldn't that be
boring), but to exchange ideas, opinions, and experience. Nothing is right
for every situation, but the discussion here offers everyone the chance to
chose what's right for them. It's the discussion that makes this LIST
GREAT!

I haven't decided what I'll do fan wise. If money was no object then I'd
like to try electric fans, but money is always an object! And when it
comes down to spending the $$$ I'll probably put them where I get the best
value. Right now I have other priorities, like fixing the body cancer and
getting this thing painted.

later,
dale c

Special thanks to Dave R. for his detailed description of an 'M' motor
vapor system. :-)
